Started in 2004, Radio Free Detroit features a diverse mix of Soul, R&B, Funk, Disco, Jazz, Techno, House Music and independent radio shows by the community. The purpose of Radio Free Detroit is to promote the sale of music from local and national artist and give a worldwide audience a non-corporate broadcast outlet of diverse programming from the community and organizations that is easily accessible by listeners using traditional and alternative broadcasting methods.
