FAQ - Frequently asked questions

First Steps

Introduction to the radio.net app

The app is devided into two sections: 'My Radio' and 'Discover'.
In 'My Radio' you find - just as before - your favorite stations and podcasts as well as recently played stations and - that's new - also songs you liked.
In 'Discover' you can browse through the Editorial Picks, the Top 100 stations, local stations as well as the lists by genre, topic, country and language.
Starting a station is easier than before: just type the Play button - instead of on the entry. Doing this, you can stay in the list view. By typing on the entry, the station detail view will open, including the description text and settings for alarm, timer, favorites and sharing.
On tablets there is a new large view on the outer right. You can easily play and stop stations by typing in the center, and you can as well swype fast through your recently listened stations. In this view you can also add or delete favorites, set the alarm or timer and as well activate AirPlay (on iOS devices). On your smart phone you can open this view - also called Car Mode - by typing on the small logo in the player.
